Corrections policy
Last updated
We want every guide to be correct and up to date. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so on the page.
How to report a mistake
Email contact@4livo.com with:
- the address (URL) of the guide;
- what is wrong or out of date;
- if you can, a link to the official source that shows the correct information.
What happens next
- We read every report and check it against the official source.
- If the guide is wrong, we correct it and add a dated note to the “Changes to this guide” section at the bottom of the page. We do not change facts silently.
- If an official rule changes, we update the guide in the same way.
Small fixes that do not change the meaning, such as typos, may be made without a note.
Reviews on a schedule
Each guide shows two dates: when it was last verified and when its next review is due. Topics where the rules change often, such as immigration, are reviewed more often than the others. We change the “Last verified” date only after we have checked the guide against its sources again.
If a guide passes its review date before it has been reviewed, a notice at the top of the guide tells you, so you know to check the official sources before you act.
How we verify information describes the full process.
