About us

4Livo is a free website for people who move to the United States from other countries. It explains the practical steps of a new life in the U.S. in plain English: documents, money, housing, health care, work and everyday life. Every important fact links to the official source it comes from.

Why 4Livo exists

The official information a newcomer needs is spread across dozens of government websites, and each one is written for its own program. 4Livo brings that information together in the order you are likely to need it, from before you move through your first year. For anything that matters, it sends you back to the official source.

Who runs 4Livo

4Livo was founded and is run by Elvis Chiribuca. Elvis sets the editorial rules, decides what is published and reviews the guides when they are due for review.

4Livo is published by SVZET S.R.L., a company registered in Romania. Its full details are on our contact page.

We are not a government agency, a law firm or an immigration service. We are not affiliated with USCIS, the U.S. Department of State or any other government agency.

How the guides are made

Every guide is researched from official sources, written in plain English and checked against the sources it links to. AI tools help us research, write and check. Each guide shows when it was last verified and when its next review is due. How we verify information describes the full process.

Our guides are general information, not legal, tax or medical advice. For your own case, talk to a licensed attorney, an accredited representative, a tax professional or a health care provider. Free and low-cost immigration legal help explains how to find trustworthy help.

How 4Livo is funded

4Livo is funded by SVZET S.R.L. The site has no advertising, no sponsored content and no affiliate links. If that changes, we will say so on this page first, and paid content will always be clearly labeled. Guides about immigration status, taxes and health will never contain paid placements.
